About the Role
Proforce Limited, a global leader in defence solutions and armoured vehicle manufacturing, is seeking a visionary and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive management team in Nigeria. In this critical leadership role, you will partner directly with the Group Managing Director to steer our financial strategy, ensure rigorous compliance, and optimize financial performance across all business units to support our rapid expansion across Africa.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team while establishing robust internal controls and standard operating procedures.
- Advise the Group Managing Director and Board on financial performance, market trends, and strategic business opportunities.
- Oversee daily financial operations, including cash flow management, banking relationships, accounts payable/receivable, and ledger reviews.
- Direct the preparation of accurate financial statements, comprehensive budgets, financial forecasting, and variance analyses.
- Implement proactive cost-control measures and track profit-and-loss performance by business segment to optimize operational expenses.
- Provide critical financial insights to support corporate finance transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and capital-raising initiatives.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Accounting or a related discipline; an MBA is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant post-graduation finance experience, with at least 5 years serving in a senior executive position.
- Mandatory active professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, CFA, or an equivalent recognized body.
- Expertise in IFRS, corporate finance, treasury management, risk management frameworks, and modern ERP financial systems.
- Demonstrated success in strategic financial planning, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership within a dynamic corporate environment.
