About the Role
Workforce Management Centre Limited is recruiting a Chief Financial Officer on behalf of our client, a well-established Nigerian manufacturing group in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector. This strategic leadership role requires an accomplished finance executive to provide robust financial stewardship, strengthen corporate governance, optimize capital, and drive sustainable business growth alongside the Board and CEO.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the Group's financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives and long-term vision.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, treasury management, and cash flow optimization.
- Drive capital raising initiatives, manage banking relationships, and support strategic investment opportunities.
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team to foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA or MSc is an advantage.
- Mandatory professional accounting qualification such as ICAN (FCA/ACA), ACCA, or CPA.
- Minimum of 15-20 years of progressive finance experience with at least 5 years in an executive leadership role like CFO or Finance Director.
- Strong industry background within manufacturing, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG sectors.
- Demonstrated success in financial strategy, treasury, corporate finance, taxation, and enterprise risk management.
