About the Role
The Fintech Association of Nigeria (FintechNGR) is a self-regulatory, not-for-profit and non-political organisation incorporated in Nigeria by the Corporate Affairs Commission and a member of the Global Fintech Hubs Federation. We are seeking a dynamic Chief Executive Officer to serve as our principal executive leader, responsible for providing strategic, commercial, and operational leadership to translate our vision into measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the execution of the Association's strategic agenda focused on participation, innovation, and expansion.
- Develop and execute revenue growth strategies across membership, events, training, partnerships, and digital products.
- Serve as the primary representative of FintechNGR to regulators, government agencies, and global stakeholders, leading high-level policy advocacy.
- Drive aggressive membership acquisition, retention, and engagement while enhancing overall member value.
- Build and lead a high-performance Secretariat team with clear KPIs, accountability, and a performance-driven culture.
- Ensure strict compliance with governance frameworks, risk management policies, and regulatory standards.
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience, with at least 8 years in senior executive leadership roles.
- Strong background in fintech, financial services, or technology ecosystems within Nigeria or emerging markets.
- Proven track record in driving revenue growth, strategic partnerships, and stakeholder management.
- Advanced degree such as an MBA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- Exceptional competencies in strategic execution, commercial acumen, policy advocacy, and digital transformation.
