About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Chief Electronics Engineer to join our offshore team in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Direct the maintenance and repair of Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit (MODU) electronic control systems, components, and interface systems.
- Monitor rig electronic systems operation, performing proactive troubleshooting and essential repairs to maintain seamless operations.
- Deliver expert technical support for electronic systems to maximize rig efficiency and fulfill client objectives.
- Focus strategically on preventive maintenance workflows to sustain operational continuity and eliminate unnecessary downtime.
- Recognized trade qualification from a technical college, apprenticeship program, or equivalent educational background.
- Minimum of 10+ years of documented, hands-on experience working as an Electronics Technician on a MODU.
- Flag State Maintenance Supervisor license required if working on Dynamic Positioning (DP) units.
- Must possess SSCE, WAEC, or GCE O Level, alongside an OND, HND, or B.Sc. degree.
- Must be a Nigerian resident currently residing within Nigeria with fluent written and verbal English communication skills.
