About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Chief Electrician to join our dynamic team in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee all electrical operations, maintenance, and repairs on high-specification mobile offshore drilling units (MODUs).
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics on complex rig electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
- Ensure compliance with international maritime standards, Flag State regulations, and company safety policies.
- Supervise, mentor, and direct junior electrical crew members to maintain peak operational efficiency.
- Coordinate closely with the rig management team to schedule preventive maintenance and minimize equipment downtime.
- Recognized trade qualification from a technical college, apprenticeship program, or equivalent.
- Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE/WAEC/GCE O Level) alongside an OND, HND, or B.Sc. degree.
- Minimum of 8 years of demonstrated or documented experience as an Electrician on a MODU.
- Valid Flag State Maintenance Supervisor license is strictly required.
- Must be a Nigerian resident currently residing in Nigeria with fluent oral and written English communication skills.
