About the Role
Tokiye Integrated Medical Services is dedicated to transforming healthcare project management and service delivery in Nigeria to international standards. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Compliance Officer to lead our compliance function, ensuring all operations and business activities strictly adhere to applicable laws, regulatory directives, and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the compliance framework, policies, and regulatory obligations register.
- Lead the AML/CFT compliance framework, overseeing transaction monitoring and investigating suspicious activities.
- Establish and enforce robust KYC and customer due diligence standards across all customer segments and channels.
- Oversee sanctions, politically exposed persons (PEP), and customer screening processes to mitigate financial crimes.
- Prepare, review, and coordinate timely submissions of regulatory returns and liaise with regulatory authorities.
- Design and implement a risk-based compliance monitoring programme, conducting periodic reviews and testing.
- Deliver comprehensive compliance and AML/CFT training programs to foster an ethical corporate culture.
- Advise management on the regulatory implications of new products, digital channels, and business partnerships.
- First degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Banking, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a senior compliance, AML/CFT, or regulatory role within financial services.
- Professional certifications such as CAMS or relevant CIBN memberships are highly desirable.
- Demonstrable expertise in regulatory reporting, risk assessment, and stakeholder management.
