About the Role
TeamAce Limited is seeking a disciplined and detail-focused Chief Accountant to oversee accounting operations across the group. In this strategic role, you will ensure accurate and timely transaction processing, robust reconciliations, and general ledger integrity while coordinating closely with the Financial Controller to deliver a seamless month-end close.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day accounting postings across sales, expenses, accruals, and prepayments with appropriate supporting documentation.
- Maintain general ledger hygiene, correct coding, and disciplined handling of suspense items.
- Execute and supervise key reconciliations including bank, clearing accounts, and gateway settlements.
- Maintain balance sheet schedules, working papers, and the fixed asset register for audit readiness.
- Support the Financial Controller during month-end close by preparing trial balance schedules and journal packs.
- Collaborate with internal control and technology teams to automate processes and strengthen ledger controls.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in accounting operations, ledger control, and reconciliations.
- Prior experience in multi-channel environments like retail, e-commerce, or distribution is an added advantage.
