About the Role
FABOTAS College of Health Sciences and Technology (FCHST), located in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, is a premier private health institution dedicated to training competent middle-level health professionals to strengthen Nigeria's primary healthcare delivery system. We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable CHEW Lecturer to join our esteemed academic faculty.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials for Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) students based on the approved curriculum.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment instruments to evaluate student performance effectively.
- Mentor and guide students academically and professionally, preparing them for clinical postings and national board examinations.
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum reviews, and college-wide academic committees.
- Maintain accurate academic records and provide timely feedback to students regarding their progress.
- Must possess a recognized Community Health Officer (CHO) qualification.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of cognate teaching or clinical instruction experience in a recognized health training institution.
- Demonstrated proficiency in ICT and modern e-learning educational tools.
- Must possess a valid and current practicing license from the relevant regulatory body.
