We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Chemistry Teacher to join our esteemed team of educators. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping young minds, fostering a deep appreciation for the sciences, and preparing students for local and international examinations through innovative teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Chemistry lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and individualized support to ensure academic success.
- Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and inquiry.
- Conduct practical laboratory sessions, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and hands-on scientific learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavioral progress as required by school policy.
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable teaching experience post-NYSC.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in using educational technology for classroom instruction.
- Must possess a good moral background and demonstrate a God-fearing disposition aligned with the school values.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to connect effectively with students and parents.
- Willingness to relocate to Port Harcourt, Rivers State, if not currently resident.
- Relevant degree in Chemistry, Education, or a related field.
