We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Chemistry Teacher to join our esteemed academic community and inspire the next generation of female leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Chemistry lessons in accordance with the Nigerian and West African secondary school curriculum.
- Design and conduct practical laboratory experiments to enhance students' theoretical understanding of chemical concepts.
- Assess, monitor, and record students' academic progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and stimulating learning environment within the classroom and science laboratories.
- Participate in school-wide extracurricular activities, academic meetings, and pastoral duties as a boarding school educator.
- Uphold the moral and ethical standards of the institution, acting as a positive mentor and role model to the students.
- Bachelor of Science in Education (B.Sc. Ed) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) in Chemistry or related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of cognate teaching experience in a reputable secondary school environment.
- Deep knowledge of chemistry curricula, laboratory safety protocols, and modern pedagogical approaches.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
