Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Chemistry lessons aligned with the approved secondary school curriculum.
- Design and supervise safe, hands-on laboratory practical sessions to foster experiential learning and scientific inquiry.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic improvement.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to effective learning and moral development.
- Participate in school-wide extracurricular activities, science fairs, and academic mentorship programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to enhance the science department's curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Bachelor of Education in Chemistry, or a related relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a recognized primary or secondary school setting.
- Strong understanding of secondary school Chemistry curricula and modern pedagogical techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to align with the Islamic ethos and values upheld by the institution.
- Certification in education or TRCN registration is an added advantage.
