Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Chemistry lessons aligned with the Nigerian curriculum and international standards.
- Prepare senior secondary students effectively for external examinations including WASSCE and IGCSE.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to ensure academic growth.
- Create a safe, orderly, and stimulating laboratory environment for practical chemistry experiments.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum and participate in school-wide academic and extracurricular activities.
- Instill strong moral and ethical values in students in alignment with the school vision and mission.
- Minimum of a B.Sc. (Ed.), B.A. (Ed.), or B.Ed. in Chemistry or a related discipline.
- At least five (5) years of proven teaching experience in a senior secondary school up to the WASSCE level.
- Demonstrated ability to teach Chemistry at the IGCSE level is essential.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
