We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Chemistry Teacher to join our dynamic academic team and deliver exceptional science education.
Key Responsibilities- Create engaging and informative lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of secondary school students.
- Implement a comprehensive Chemistry curriculum aligned with state and national educational standards.
- Utilize a variety of instructional techniques, laboratory experiments, and educational technology to support student learning.
- Monitor and assess student academic progress, providing regular feedback to the head of the school and parents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and safe classroom environment that encourages active participation and a love for science.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to develop and implement school-wide academic initiatives.
- Participate in continuous professional development opportunities to stay current with modern educational best practices.
- Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Science Education, or a related field.
- Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria certification is an added advantage.
- Proven experience teaching Chemistry in a secondary school environment.
- Strong understanding of the secondary school science curriculum and instructional methodologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Willingness to reside in close proximity to the school location in Ondo State.
