About the Role
Victrius Academy, a newly established and forward-thinking educational institution located in the vibrant Hajj Camp area of Gwagwalada, Abuja, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to join our esteemed Science Department. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment, sparking students' curiosity for the chemical sciences, and guiding them toward academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Chemistry lessons aligned with the approved curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth and achievement.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
- Conduct practical laboratory sessions, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and hands-on scientific exploration.
- Collaborate with fellow department members to develop innovative science programs and participate in school activities.
- Minimum qualification includes a B.Ed, B.Sc, B.A, or PGDE in relevant subject areas.
- Holders of an NCE, HND, or ND in Chemistry or closely related disciplines are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong passion for teaching with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for diverse learners.
- Prior teaching experience in a recognized secondary school setting will be an added advantage.
