Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, comprehensive, and interactive Chemistry lessons to secondary school students in alignment with the approved national curriculum.
  • Design and conduct practical laboratory experiments to enhance students' theoretical understanding and scientific inquiry skills.
  • Assess, evaluate, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic improvement and personal growth.
  • Maintain a safe, orderly, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and school administration in planning school events, science fairs, and curriculum reviews.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance, behavior, and overall development.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), B.Sc. Ed, or a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline with a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGDE).
  • Proven experience teaching Chemistry in a recognized secondary school setting is a distinct advantage.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse learners.
  • Deep passion for teaching, student mentorship, and child development within a values-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
