About the Role
Learners Crest Schools is a dynamic, multi-educational institution located in Baale Ajuwon, Ogun State, near the vibrant Ojodu Berger and Iju axis of Lagos. Since our establishment in 2021 by Mrs. Olubukola Israel, we have been committed to providing an inclusive and comprehensive academic framework spanning from early years through secondary education. We are currently looking for a dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join our team of exceptional educators and contribute to our academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and structured Chemistry lessons for secondary school students in accordance with the approved curriculum.
- Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Conduct regular practical laboratory sessions to help students bridge theoretical chemistry concepts with real-world applications.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to students, parents, and school management.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, school events, professional development workshops, and extracurricular activities.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively and foster a positive attitude towards science and learning among all students.
- Possession of an HND, B.Sc, or B.Ed in Chemistry or a closely related education discipline.
- Proven teaching experience in a recognized secondary school setting will be considered a distinct advantage.
- Strong passion for teaching with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to utilize modern teaching aids and digital tools to enhance classroom instruction.
- Must reside within or close to the Baale Ajuwon, Ojodu Berger, or Iju Lagos axis.
