About the Role
MAX is on a mission to fix Africa's notorious last-mile delivery and online-retail problems by using mobile and web platforms to connect consumers, retail businesses, and independent drivers in real-time. As a Check-in / Check-Out Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless management of our vehicle fleet, maintaining accurate digital records, and delivering exceptional service to our drivers and prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate records of all vehicle movements into and out of the facility using MAX ONE software.
- Conduct thorough pre-check-in and check-out inspections to ascertain the physical condition of vehicles.
- Update vehicle inactivity data promptly within the management software.
- Conduct ride tests and vision acuity tests for prospective drivers.
- Liaise closely with the maintenance team to route vehicles needing repairs and generate clear service logs.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and support to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Minimum of an OND in Business Administration, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of proven experience in a similar vehicle operations, logistics, or administrative role.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in basic data entry and record-keeping software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, customer-first demeanor.
