About the Role
ZAP Mobility, a pioneering sustainable transportation company and subsidiary of Townfive Investments (Nigeria) Ltd, is leading the electric vehicle revolution in Nigeria. Located in Ikoyi, Lagos, we provide a complete ecosystem to transition from ICE vehicles to eco-friendly EVs. We are currently looking for a proactive Charging Officer to join our dynamic technical operations team and ensure the seamless daily operation of our charging infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee vehicle charging queues and manage day-to-day charging station operations efficiently.
- Monitor active charging sessions to ensure electric vehicles are fully charged and ready for timely deployment.
- Conduct rigorous daily safety and performance checks on power stations and battery health.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate logs of charging cycles, daily energy usage, and overall battery performance.
- Identify and promptly report any technical or operational issues related to charging equipment and fleet readiness.
- Collaborate with the technical team to support the continuous improvement of charging processes and infrastructure protocols.
- Possession of an OND, HND, or B.Sc in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a closely related technical field.
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on professional experience working with battery systems, power operations, electrical systems, or technical field operations.
- Foundational understanding of EV charging infrastructure and modern battery management systems.
- Flexibility to work in shifts to support our continuous operational schedule.
- Strong attention to safety protocols, operational accuracy, and troubleshooting details.
