About the Role

Are you an experienced finance professional looking to make a meaningful impact with a world-renowned cultural relations organisation? The British Council in Nigeria is seeking a dedicated and analytical professional for the CE FP&A CoE Insights Senior Analyst role. In this position, you will act as a central source of truth for Cultural Engagement finance, providing reliable financial insights, data integrity, and robust reporting systems to support informed decision-making across our global programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform financial reconciliations across SAP, Anaplan, and programme datasets to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Manage the Anaplan grant model, supporting ODA and non-ODA reporting requirements while resolving cost and overhead allocation anomalies.
  • Prepare standardised financial data packs, variance analysis, and trend insights for sector finance heads and business partners.
  • Maintain robust documentation, audit trails, and version control to support governance and strict audit readiness.
  • Collaborate with Business Decision Support teams to resolve discrepancies and align data inputs with reporting outputs.
Qualifications
  • Significant professional experience in financial data analysis, FP&A, or management accounting.
  • Demonstrated experience completing complex reconciliations and supporting monthly reporting cycles.
  • Proficiency in EPM platforms such as Anaplan, alongside experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Desirable: A professional accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Must possess the legal right to live and work in Nigeria, as visa sponsorship is not provided.
