About the Role
Chilis by Ebevande, a premier 24-hour service restaurant and lounge located in Ibadan, Oyo State, is looking for a vigilant and proactive CCTV Officer to join our security team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our valued customers and staff across our dynamic morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Continuously monitor live CCTV footage to ensure comprehensive safety and security across the restaurant and lounge premises.
- Keep a close watch on high-risk zones, including all entrances, exits, and cash-handling areas.
- Respond promptly to security breaches, theft, or altercations, immediately alerting management and relevant authorities.
- Assist internal and external investigators by retrieving and providing accurate footage and incident details.
- Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of CCTV hardware and software to guarantee optimal functionality.
- Resolve technical recording or display issues swiftly to prevent blind spots.
- Ensure all surveillance operations strictly comply with relevant privacy laws and internal company regulations.
- Document and submit comprehensive daily incident reports to upper management.
- Proven experience as a CCTV Officer, Surveillance Operator, or in a similar security role within the hospitality or retail sector.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, crime prevention, and emergency response procedures.
- Familiarity with operating and troubleshooting various CCTV systems and recording equipment.
- Proximity to Bodija, Ibadan, and the surrounding areas is strongly preferred.
- Must be readily available to resume work immediately and willing to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
