We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Cathlab Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team of world-class healthcare professionals, utilizing cutting-edge technology to improve patient outcomes across the South-South region and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist cardiologists, radiologists, and nurses during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
  • Prepare, sterilize, and maintain catheterization laboratory equipment, instruments, and supplies according to safety protocols.
  • Monitor patient vital signs closely before, during, and after procedures, reporting any critical changes immediately.
  • Ensure the catheterization suite is fully stocked, organized, and compliant with infection control standards.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, procedure logs, and inventory documentation with strict confidentiality.
  • Provide reassuring, patient-centered care to alleviate patient anxiety before and during procedures.
Qualifications
  • Possession of relevant health sciences qualifications, nursing certification, or allied medical training.
  • Proven clinical experience working within a catheterization laboratory, operating room, or intensive care unit.
  • Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and sterile techniques.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills to thrive in a high-pressure medical environment.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are a distinct advantage.
