We are currently looking for a passionate and skilled Catering and Craft Teacher to join our dynamic team of educators and help shape the future of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in catering, food nutrition, and craftwork in accordance with the secondary school curriculum.
- Demonstrate practical culinary and craft techniques, ensuring active student participation and safe laboratory practices.
- Assess and evaluate students' practical assignments, projects, and theoretical examinations, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a well-organized, safe, and clean food laboratory and craft studio.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and practical skill development.
- Participate in school-wide extracurricular activities, cultural events, and staff meetings.
- Minimum of an Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) or a relevant degree in Home Economics, Catering, or a related subject area.
- Possession of a mandatory NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
- Previous teaching experience in a recognized secondary school setting is an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and classroom management skills.
