About the Role
Pinnacle Oil & Gas Ltd is a leading indigenous company active across the downstream value chain of the Nigerian oil and gas sector. We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Cashier to join our vibrant team at the Ikota Service Station in Lagos. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and upholding our high standards of integrity and customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, count, record, and bank daily cash sales generated from station operations.
- Ensure the safekeeping of all collected cash and coordinate tracking with Bankers Warehouse for secure pick-ups.
- Prepare daily and monthly POS reconciliation reports to guarantee accurate receipt of all funds.
- Monitor fuel attendants regarding cash mop-up activities on the forecourt.
- Manage station petty cash disbursements and promptly apply for necessary replenishments.
- Respond to POS chargeback emails by providing required supporting documentation and resolutions.
- Perform any other related tasks assigned by management from time to time.
- Minimum of HND or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of proven work experience in a similar cashier or accounting role.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as ACA or ACCA will be an added advantage.
