Resurgir Consulting is looking for a dedicated and business-minded Cashier / Counter Sales Personnel to join our client's team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in driving business growth by ensuring seamless daily operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and delivering exceptional customer service with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Handle daily sales transactions efficiently and maintain accurate financial records using POS systems.
- Monitor stock levels, track inventory movement, and identify discrepancies or leakages promptly.
- Prepare and analyze daily sales reports to identify performance trends and profit margins.
- Supervise support staff, delegate daily tasks, and resolve workplace issues professionally.
- Drive sales initiatives and implement customer retention strategies to encourage repeat business.
- Handle customer inquiries, pricing concerns, and complaints with a professional and polite attitude.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or B.Sc. in a relevant discipline.
- Proven work experience as a cashier, counter sales representative, or retail sales attendant.
- Strong proficiency in handling cash transactions, operating POS systems, and keeping records.
- Demonstrated honesty, integrity, and accountability in managing funds and inventory.
- Exceptional communication, numerical, and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in a retail, agro-allied, feed store, or veterinary setting is a distinct advantage.
