About the Role
Givanas Group of Companies, a leading manufacturer and distributor of popular Fast Moving Consumer Goods such as milk, tea, canned seafood, and bath soap, is seeking a diligent and trustworthy Cashier to join our expanding team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our financial integrity and ensuring smooth daily operations by delivering exceptional service to our customers and internal stakeholders alike.
Key Responsibilities- Process all daily cash, card, and POS transactions with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Reconcile daily cash collections against sales records and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare comprehensive daily cash reports and manage petty cash disbursements securely.
- Ensure proper safekeeping, documentation, and banking preparation of all cash assets.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure checkout environment while adhering to company financial policies.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of proven professional experience as a cashier or in a similar financial role.
- Demonstrated high level of integrity, honesty, and attention to detail.
- Strong numerical, communication, and basic computer literacy skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced FMCG retail and distribution environment.
