About the Role

Key Responsibilities- Process cash, POS terminals, bank transfers, and alternative payment methods accurately and efficiently.
- Issue valid receipts, invoices, and necessary documentation for all completed customer transactions.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate daily records of all sales and cash collections.
- Conduct end-of-shift register balancing and transaction reconciliations meticulously.
- Resolve basic customer payment inquiries and escalate complex issues professionally.
- Identify and report any financial discrepancies, shortages, or excesses immediately to management.
- Ensure the strict safeguarding of physical cash, receipts, and sensitive financial records.
- Collaborate with the retail sales team to ensure a seamless and swift customer checkout experience.
- Adhere strictly to company financial controls, compliance standards, and cash-handling policies.
- Minimum of an HND or B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in a cashier, retail banking, or customer service role is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated numerical competence and solid foundational accounting skills.
- Proficiency in operating POS systems, electronic cash registers, and basic office applications.
