About the Role
The Choice Sanitary Wares Nigeria, a premier leader in the building and plumbing materials industry, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the vital link between our customers and our financial records, ensuring every transaction is handled with absolute precision, professionalism, and integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and process payments for goods sold via cash, POS, and verified bank transfers.
- Issue official receipts for every transaction and confirm bank transfers before releasing goods.
- Open and close the cash float, balance cash drawers and POS terminals, and prepare daily sales reports.
- Reconcile daily sales with inventory releases and properly file all financial documents.
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining strict adherence to company financial compliance policies.
- Minimum of OND in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar finance/retail role.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and numerical proficiency.
- Familiarity with POS machines, electronic banking, and inventory-sales reconciliation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
