About the Role
Artee Group, a leading name in Nigeria's retail and consumption space, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our brand, ensuring seamless checkout experiences, accurate financial transactions, and top-notch customer service across our popular retail formats.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain the checkout area prior to the start of work and ensure workplace hygiene.
- Collect, check, and sign out daily cash floats while ensuring sufficient change is available.
- Ensure cash registers are in good working condition and till rolls are fully stocked.
- Scan all goods accurately, verify correct pricing, and identify daily promotions with the Cash Supervisor.
- Deliver exceptional customer service with a positive attitude, handle customer complaints professionally, and relay feedback to management.
- Ensure all collected money is safely deposited with the strong room cashier before breaks and store closure.
- Maintain a good rapport with customers and co-employees while multitasking effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight schedules.
