About the Role
Vopnucity Nigeria Limited is a leading real estate development and property management firm dedicated to delivering exceptional residential and commercial solutions. We are currently looking for a driven and analytical Accounting Officer to join our finance department and support our ongoing expansion across Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining financial integrity, executing day-to-day accounting operations, and assisting with strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and accounts payable/receivable operations.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve any financial discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes to guide management decisions.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws, statutory deductions, and internal financial policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors during financial audits.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Progress towards or completion of professional accounting qualifications such as ICAN, ACCA, or ANAN is highly desirable.
- 2 to 3 years of proven professional experience in accounting, financial reporting, or bookkeeping, preferably within the real estate or service sector.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to meet strict deadlines under pressure.
