About the Role
Someni Nigeria Limited is an indigenous engineering and construction company providing specialist services to Nigeria's oil and gas sector and allied industries. Since 1993, we have delivered safety-focused and cost-effective solutions across oil-field services, pipeline construction and maintenance, building and civil construction, flow-station projects, manpower supply, infrastructure development and community relations management. We are seeking experienced Carpenters to support our expanding operations across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Execute carpentry work on oil and gas sector projects, construction sites, and industrial facilities
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications with precision
- Fabricate, assemble, and install wooden structures and fixtures according to project requirements
- Maintain work area safety standards and adhere to all health and safety protocols
- Collaborate with engineering teams and project managers to ensure timely project delivery
- Perform quality inspections and ensure workmanship meets company standards
- Maintain tools and equipment in optimal working condition
- Relevant carpentry qualifications or certifications (SSCE minimum or trade certification)
- Proven experience in construction, oil and gas, or industrial carpentry
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
