About the Role
SIAO is looking for dedicated and experienced Canter Truck Drivers to join our growing logistics team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our supply chain by ensuring that products are safely and efficiently transported and delivered to various retail locations nationwide. Key Responsibilities- Safely transport and deliver products to retailers and designated locations across Nigeria.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and secure delivery of all goods during transit.
- Properly load, handle, and arrange goods to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, waybills, and transit documentation.
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the assigned vehicle and report mechanical faults promptly.
- Comply strictly with Nigerian road traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Build and maintain positive professional relationships with retailers and clients.
- Report any delays, accidents, or transit incidents immediately to management.
- Minimum qualification of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from a recognized institution.
- Possession of a valid Nigerian Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record.
- Proven professional experience driving Canter or similar commercial trucks.
- Extensive knowledge of Nigerian roads, interstate routes, and regional geography.
- Willingness to travel and work flexibly across different locations as required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
