About the Role
Castville Solutions is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Cabinet Design Architect/Designer to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will translate client requirements and architectural drawings into precise, manufacturable cabinet designs, serving as a crucial bridge between sales, engineering, and production.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive cabinet and millwork designs, including kitchens, wardrobes, and commercial fit-outs, from client briefs and architectural drawings.
- Produce detailed shop drawings, cut lists, and cabinet schedules using industry-standard CAD and cabinet design software.
- Generate CNC-ready nesting files and ensure all designs comply with strict tolerance standards for MDF and plywood.
- Collaborate closely with production and quality control teams to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing efficiency.
- Conduct site measurements and advise clients on material selection, finishes, hardware, and design feasibility.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in cabinet design, furniture manufacturing, or millwork.
- Demonstrated proficiency in CAD software and specialized cabinet design applications such as Mozaik or PolyBoard.
- Strong understanding of wood-based panel materials, joinery methods, and CNC manufacturing environments.
- Exceptional spatial reasoning, attention to detail, and cross-functional communication skills.
