About the Role
Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC) is a prominent network of science-oriented, co-educational day and boarding schools dedicated to raising exceptional future leaders in Nigeria since 1998. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Business Studies Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping students' understanding of commerce, entrepreneurship, and economics, providing them with essential foundational skills for the modern business world within a supportive and multicultural learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver well-structured and engaging Business Studies lessons to Junior and Senior Secondary students in accordance with the Nigerian and international curricula.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, teaching aids, and instructional materials to facilitate active student participation and comprehension.
- Assess, evaluate, and track student progress through regular assignments, quizzes, and examinations, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, curiosity, and collaboration.
- Participate actively in school extracurricular activities, departmental meetings, and professional development workshops.
- Maintain accurate academic records and communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance and behavioral development.
- Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Education, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or professional teaching certification is an added advantage).
- Demonstrated prior experience teaching Business Studies in a reputable secondary school setting.
- In-depth knowledge of current educational standards, curriculum requirements, and innovative pedagogical approaches.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing educational technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
