About the Role
Kaptain Energy Limited is a fully owned Nigerian company operating to international standards, delivering exceptional petroleum, drilling, completions, and production engineering solutions. We are currently looking for a strategic, results-driven Business Development/Tendering Manager to join our dynamic team in Lagos and spearhead our next phase of commercial growth in the oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities- Drive revenue growth by securing new clients, expanding existing business relationships, and winning major industry contracts.
- Monitor tender opportunities, prequalification exercises, RFQs, RFPs, and other commercial openings across target service areas.
- Lead the preparation, review, and submission of highly competitive technical and commercial proposals and bids.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop winning commercial pricing strategies and ensure departmental KPIs are met.
- Coordinate seamlessly with operations, finance, and management to develop robust, competitive proposals.
- Develop, negotiate, and manage strategic alliances with key technical and commercial partners.
- Represent Kaptain Energy Limited at high-level technical meetings, presentations, conferences, and industry seminars.
- Build and maintain a strong professional network within and beyond the Nigerian energy sector while preparing periodic business development reports for management.
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 7 years of cognate experience in business development and tendering specifically within the oil and gas industry.
- Proven track record of successfully securing major service contracts and navigating complex tender requirements.
- Strong understanding of both technical and commercial tender processes, with excellent negotiation and strategic thinking skills.
- Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities and an established, active industry network in Nigeria.
- Must currently reside in Lagos.
