About the Role

Westfield Consulting is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager - Marine to drive commercial growth and expand our footprint in marine logistics, petroleum products marketing, and industrial waste management solutions across Nigeria. In this strategic leadership role, you will play a pivotal part in scaling our maritime operations, promoting advanced thermal desorption technology, and forging high-value partnerships within the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue lucrative business opportunities in marine logistics, petroleum product supply, and comprehensive waste management.
  • Build, nurture, and maintain robust strategic relationships with key stakeholders in oil and gas companies, regulatory agencies, and international partners.
  • Promote and oversee the deployment of thermal desorption technology for efficient petroleum and industrial waste treatment.
  • Expand our core service offerings including marine haulage, offshore support, and advanced pollution control solutions.
  • Lead contract negotiations, strategic joint ventures, and high-stakes bidding processes to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Nigerian environmental laws, maritime regulations, and relevant international operating standards.
  • Monitor market intelligence, competitor activities, and emerging technological trends within the marine and waste management sectors.
  • Mentor and lead the business development team to align daily operations with overarching corporate growth goals.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline; an MBA is a distinct advantage.
  • 7 to 10 years of proven business development experience within the oil and gas, marine logistics, or environmental waste management industries.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of petroleum marketing, pollution control, and environmental consultancy frameworks.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful contract negotiation, major client acquisition, and sustainable revenue generation.
  • In-depth familiarity with Nigerian regulatory frameworks and international maritime standards.
  • Exceptional competencies in strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, technical problem-solving, and team leadership.
