About the Role
Westfield Consulting is a premier management consultancy firm dedicated to enhancing organizational performance through expert strategic advisory and tailored business solutions. We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Lagos. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead our market expansion efforts, forge strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth by optimizing our distribution channels and executing high-impact sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop new business opportunities, onboarding new distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners across Lagos and surrounding territories.
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective territory planning and market execution.
- Manage and support key distribution partners, monitoring stock levels, pricing compliance, and overall channel performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, negotiating contracts and ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and recommend proactive growth strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure seamless operational alignment and reporting.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline; an MBA or professional certification is a distinct advantage.
- 5 to 7 years of proven experience in FMCG sales and business development, preferably within the Nigerian market.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and managing complex distribution networks.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with strong leadership capabilities.
- Strong analytical mindset and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
