About the Role
Gemameg Company Nigeria Limited is a reputable consultancy and support staffing firm dedicated to delivering exceptional operational solutions across Nigeria. We are currently recruiting a skilled, safety-conscious, and experienced Bulldozer Operator to join our dynamic operations at Igere Remo, Ogun State. In this role, you will play a critical part in land clearing, grading, earthmoving, road preparation, and various agricultural infrastructure projects, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Operate bulldozers and related heavy-duty equipment efficiently and safely in accordance with site guidelines.
- Perform land clearing, leveling, grading, excavation, and earthmoving activities for infrastructure and farm projects.
- Conduct thorough pre-operation and post-operation equipment inspections to guarantee optimal functionality.
- Report mechanical faults and coordinate routine maintenance requirements promptly with the technical team.
- Adhere strictly to site safety regulations, operational instructions, and environmental standards at all times.
- Maintain accurate daily operational logs, fuel consumption records, and equipment usage reports.
- Collaborate closely with farm management and project execution teams to meet daily development targets.
- Ensure proper handling, cleaning, and secure storage of heavy machinery after each shift.
- Minimum of an SSCE/WAEC qualification.
- Proven professional experience in operating bulldozers and similar heavy-duty machinery.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in construction, agriculture, or land development.
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to work extended hours on site when required.
- Good understanding of basic equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety compliance.
- Technical or vocational certification in heavy equipment operation will be an added advantage.
