About the Role
International Breweries Plc, a leading beverage manufacturer established in 1971, is seeking a skilled Brewing Process Artisan to join our production team. In this critical role, you will operate and maintain sophisticated brewing equipment, optimize production processes, and ensure the highest standards of product quality and workplace safety. You will work collaboratively with shift teams to maximize plant availability and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Operate machine and equipment according to established protocols and safety standards
- Maintain, repair, and optimize plant equipment and associated devices to ensure peak performance
- Monitor and optimize production performance to maximize efficiency and output quality
- Maintain safe, healthy, and risk-free working environments for all team members
- Apply VPO tools and methodologies to drive continuous process improvement
- Participate actively in shift meetings, contributing insights and improvement suggestions
- Document issues, problems, and improvement opportunities using action logs
- Conduct comprehensive shift handovers, communicating plant performance, quality, and maintenance concerns
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve departmental objectives
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.), Higher National Diploma (HND), or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in brewing, manufacturing, or FMCG environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work shift schedules
- High achievement drive with focus on continuous improvement
