About the Role
Sagar Vitaceuticals Nigeria Limited, a renowned leader in the Nigerian pharmaceutical industry and maker of trusted brands like Vitaclox and Vitacillin, is seeking a skilled Blistering Machine Operator for our ultra-modern factory in Ikeja, Lagos. In this vital role, you will operate, monitor, and maintain advanced blister packing equipment while strictly adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company quality standards to deliver safe, affordable healthcare products to the market.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor blister packing machines efficiently, ensuring safe execution of daily production targets.
- Perform machine setups, changeovers, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting for PVC/PVDC-Alu and Alu-Alu systems.
- Conduct in-process quality checks regarding seal integrity, pack appearance, print quality, and tablet placement.
- Complete accurate batch documentation, machine logs, and production records in compliance with SOPs.
- Maintain a clean production environment, minimize material wastage, and support routine preventive maintenance.
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience operating blister packing machines within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of GMP requirements, packaging processes, and quality control standards.
- Demonstrated ability to perform machine troubleshooting and interpret batch packaging records.
- Relevant technical, mechanical, or pharmaceutical qualification is a distinct advantage.
