About the Role
Medcourt Support Services Limited is a leading indigenous health solutions company based in Lagos, Nigeria, dedicated to transforming the medical support industry through innovative technologies and exceptional service. We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Biomedical Engineer to join our dynamic team and ensure the optimal performance of medical equipment across our client facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of medical and diagnostic equipment.
- Troubleshoot technical faults efficiently and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Participate in clinical ward rounds to promptly identify and resolve equipment-related challenges.
- Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance logs, and comprehensive equipment history.
- Support inventory management, asset tagging, tracking, and update equipment registers.
- Liaise with external vendors and OEMs for specialized repairs and genuine spare parts procurement.
- Provide basic operational training to clinical staff to ensure safe equipment usage.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety, infection control, and medical device regulatory standards.
- Support internal and external audits, facility inspections, and related compliance activities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of proven hands-on experience in a healthcare or medical service environment.
- Must reside within Ajah and its immediate surrounding areas in Lagos.
- Strong knowledge of medical equipment lifecycle management and safety standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and technical documentation skills.
