Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Biology lessons in accordance with the approved Nigerian secondary school curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
  • Create a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
  • Supervise practical laboratory sessions to ensure students gain hands-on scientific experience.
  • Participate in school co-curricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
Qualifications
  • Possess a minimum of an NCE, B.Sc, B.Ed, or equivalent in Biology or a related educational field.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Biology at the secondary school level is an added advantage.
  • Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Must be hardworking, punctual, responsible, and capable of working with little or no supervision.
  • Strong commitment to upholding high standards of discipline and moral development in students.
