We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Biology Teacher to join our esteemed faculty and help shape the future of our secondary school students.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Biology lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to ensure academic success.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that fosters critical thinking and a love for the sciences.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavioral assessments.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, school events, extracurricular activities, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Instill strong moral values and discipline among students, serving as a positive role model both inside and outside the classroom.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven teaching experience in Biology post-NYSC.
- Relevant Bachelor's degree in Education, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in using digital tools for modern instructional delivery.
- Possession of a good moral background with a God-fearing disposition aligned with the school's core values.
- Willingness to relocate to Port Harcourt, Rivers State, if not currently residing locally.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to connect effectively with adolescents.
