About the Role
KNOSK N100/25cents A-Day Charity Secondary School is committed to providing accessible, quality secondary education to children from the poorest households and underserved communities across Nigeria. We create pathways for out-of-school children, particularly girls, to complete their secondary education and pursue sustainable livelihoods that break the cycle of generational poverty.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned Biology lessons to secondary school students
- Create inclusive classroom environments that foster critical thinking and scientific inquiry
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning outcomes
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into Biology instruction
- Mentor and support struggling learners to achieve academic success
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop quality educational resources and programmes
- Contribute to school initiatives that promote student welfare and holistic development
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology or related field (B.Sc., B.Ed., or B.A. with PGDE or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a secondary school setting (preferred)
- Demonstrated excellence in classroom management and communication skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school Biology curriculum
- Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching (advantageous)
