We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Biology Teacher to inspire the next generation of scientists and nurture academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective Biology lessons tailored to both IGCSE and Nigerian secondary school standards including WAEC and JAMB.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and formative assessments to monitor student progress.
- Guide and mentor students participating in regional and global STEM competitions and science fairs.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to advanced scientific inquiry and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with fellow department members to review and enhance the science curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student academic performance, behavior, and developmental goals.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Biology, or a related field with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
- Proven teaching experience within a reputable secondary school setting, with familiarity in Cambridge IGCSE and Nigerian curricula being a distinct advantage.
