About the Role
TAAS College, a prestigious co-educational Islamic institution located in Ibadan, is seeking a dedicated and qualified Biology, Agricultural Science, and Livestock Management Teacher. In this role, you will inspire secondary school students, deliver engaging lessons, and prepare learners for external examinations within a serene and modern academic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Biology, Agricultural Science, and Livestock Management effectively to secondary school students.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, schemes of work, continuous assessments, and academic reports.
- Monitor, evaluate, and track students' academic progress to ensure improvement.
- Prepare students successfully for WAEC, NECO, and other relevant external examinations.
- Participate actively in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Maintain a disciplined, conducive, and engaging learning environment that upholds the school's core values.
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Agricultural Science, Animal Science, Livestock Management, Education, or a related field.
- 4 to 7 years of proven teaching experience in a reputable secondary school.
- Strong subject mastery with exceptional classroom management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing educational technology and digital teaching tools.
- Demonstrated passion for holistic student academic and character development.
- Residency in Ibadan or close proximity is strongly preferred.
