About the Role
MDaaS Global builds and operates modern, tech-enabled healthcare clinics across Nigeria under our BeaconHealth Diagnostics brand. We are seeking a dedicated Billing Officer (Front Desk) to serve as the welcoming face of our clinic. In this vital role, you will sit at the intersection of patient experience, revenue management, and data accuracy, ensuring seamless operations from a patient's arrival to their departure using our proprietary platform, BeaconOS.
Key Responsibilities- Answer phone and in-person enquiries courteously from patients, families, and referring clinicians.
- Welcome patients warmly in their preferred language, guide them through visits, and collect necessary referral forms.
- Review patient bills, verify insurance benefits, collect payments, and issue accurate receipts.
- Document all patient visits and bookings accurately within the BeaconOS digital platform.
- Gather patient feedback, support satisfaction surveys, and escalate issues to the Center Manager.
- OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk, customer service, or billing role.
- Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn digital record systems quickly.
- Excellent spoken communication skills, attention to detail, and a warm, empathetic manner.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting and familiarity with health insurance verification is an advantage.
