About the Role
Beaconhealth Diagnostics is revolutionizing diagnostic care in Nigeria by providing accessible, high-quality healthcare through our innovative network of clinics. We are currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Billing Officer (Front Desk) to join our team in Umuahia. In this vital role, you will serve as the welcoming face of our clinic, bridging patient experience, revenue management, and data accuracy using our proprietary platform, BeaconOS.
Key Responsibilities- Greet patients warmly, manage in-person and phone enquiries, and direct visitors courteously.
- Guide patients through their clinic visits, verify referral details, and coordinate appointment bookings.
- Process billing accurately, handle payments, issue receipts, and verify health insurance benefits.
- Capture and update patient information securely within the BeaconOS digital platform.
- Collect patient feedback, resolve minor issues, and escalate concerns to the Center Manager.
- OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk, customer service, or billing role.
- Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn digital record systems quickly.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, patience, and a warm, empathetic demeanor.
- Prior experience in a healthcare or hospital environment is an advantage.
