We are currently seeking a meticulous and professional Billing and Refunds Officer to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth financial operations of our hospital, directly contributing to our mission of delivering compassionate healthcare and supporting the development of future medical leaders in a multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily patient billing, invoicing, and payment processing accurately.
- Review, process, and reconcile refund requests in accordance with hospital financial policies.
- Maintain clear, organized financial records and resolve billing discrepancies promptly with patients and internal departments.
- Collaborate with the finance and administrative teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and auditing standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families regarding billing inquiries and payment options.
- HND in Business Studies or Accountancy from a recognized institution, or an ICSA certificate.
- Relevant post-qualification work experience in a similar finance or billing role, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Must be fully ICT compliant with proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid registration with relevant professional regulatory bodies where applicable.
- Strong integrity, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
