About the Role
Beacon Power Services has been at the forefront of developing advanced energy management software and providing comprehensive energy analytics in Nigeria since 2010. We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bilingual (FR/ENG) Associate – Product Management to join our TEC Technology department and help shape our product portfolio for utilities across Africa.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct user and market research activities, gathering valuable feedback from clients to inform product decisions.
- Coordinate requirements definition, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria for assigned software modules.
- Collaborate closely with Design, Engineering, QA, and commercial teams to support development and ensure release readiness.
- Support implementation teams by clarifying product requirements and tracking deployment-related issues.
- Maintain comprehensive product documentation and contribute actionable insights for ongoing roadmap planning.
- Fluency in both French and English is strictly required for this role.
- Demonstrated experience or exposure to product management within SaaS, enterprise software, or technology environments.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Strong technical fluency to engage confidently with engineering teams during delivery discussions.
- Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills for working within distributed multicultural teams.
- Prior experience in energy, utilities, infrastructure, or cleantech sectors is considered a strong plus.
