About the Role
Grace Court Schools, a highly reputable and academically sound educational institution located in Awka, Anambra State, is currently seeking a passionate and dynamic Basic Technology Teacher to join our esteemed faculty. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in introducing students to foundational technical concepts, fostering curiosity, and building practical problem-solving skills within a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, well-structured Basic Technology lessons in accordance with the approved curriculum.
- Manage the classroom effectively to maintain a conducive, safe, and disciplined learning atmosphere.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and comprehensive reports.
- Prepare instructional materials, lesson plans, and practical demonstrations for students.
- Mentor and guide students, encouraging active participation in technical and vocational activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school management to enhance academic standards and school programs.
- Minimum of a B.Ed, B.A, or B.Sc in Basic Technology, Education, or a related relevant subject.
- Prior teaching experience will be a strong added advantage, though passionate fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional classroom management and organizational abilities.
- Must be self-driven, highly dedicated, and deeply passionate about teaching and child development.
- Must currently reside in Awka, Anambra State, or be ready to commute easily.
